At the start of this year, Qunity president and CEO Tim Sivers joined the Home Builders Associates of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties as Associate Director. As an organization of more than 600 members representing all aspects of the residential construction industry, Qunity will cultivate and contribute to strong community relationships in bordering counties.

Founded and established in 1988 by Ronald Horvath, PE, Qunity (formerly Horvath Associates) has been a prominent civil engineering firm with over 30 years of experience in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. Today the firm’s managing partners have over 75 years of experience in site development design, permitting, and construction administration, but none of this happened overnight.

Our name, Qunity, embodies many qualities that make our firm distinctly our own. First, it contains the word “unity,” which speaks to our commitment to maintaining an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace and culture. Second, it sounds like “community,” which we strive to build every day through the projects we deliver and our close relationships with the people, municipalities, and agencies we serve.
