With over 14 years of experience in landscape architecture and land planning, Lauren is a cornerstone of the design team at Qunity. Her journey reached a major milestone in 2025 when she officially earned her professional landscape architecture licensure—a rigorous achievement that she felt was truly celebrated by the firm. “Gaining my licensure was a huge stepping stone, and Qunity rewards this,” she shares: “I finally felt, at Qunity, getting my license would be worth it.” Between a work-life balance that allowed for dedicated study time and teammates who selflessly shared their own prep materials, Lauren found a community that invested in her success as much as she did.
While Lauren is a powerhouse in project coordination, she is also the unofficial "heart" of our internal office culture. If you walk into Qunity and see a desk transformed with festive, personalized decorations, you’re looking at Lauren’s handiwork. She manages nearly all the firm’s birthday celebrations, taking the time to theme each setup to fit that specific person’s tastes. It is a sweet gesture that speaks to her belief that even as the firm grows, it remains a place where every individual is seen. Having worked in less vibrant office environments, Lauren cherishes the open, friendly culture at Qunity, a culture she qualifies in three simple words: Work, Friendships, and Laughter.
This same thoughtfulness carries over into her professional designs. When Lauren sits down to a blank canvas, her goal is to foster a sense of community. “I want to create warm and inviting spaces,” she explains. “When people enter a space we’ve designed, I want them to feel a sense of peace and joy.”

Outside the office, Lauren’s creativity doesn’t stop; she is a "hardcore gardener" and an experienced house flipper. She often uses her own property as a laboratory, experimenting with design ideas like dry riverbeds and grading before bringing those insights back to her professional projects. She loves using her hobbies of gardening and yardwork to test new ideas. She recently built a retaining wall around her property, and her hands-on experience in the dirt plus professional expertise granted her a unique edge when communicating with construction crews, who respected her authority.

Now, only a few months fresh in her position as Project Coordinator, Lauren is excited to expand further into her leadership role. Her goal for the next six months is to become a true pillar of support for her team. “I want to be a support system for my team,” she says. “Instead of just telling people what to do, I want to give them what they need and constantly seek their feedback.” For Lauren, leadership isn't about commanding a room; it’s about building a team that functions as a well-oiled machine by consistently providing empathy and support.
She views her role as a partnership, aiming to be the kind of mentor she was lucky enough to have early in her career. Success for Lauren isn't found in a title, but in the "little things,” as in coming to work with a positive attitude, being able to enjoy her colleagues, and ensuring that every member of her team feels heard. As she looks toward the future, she is dedicated to growing this feedback-driven leadership style, ensuring that at Qunity, every project is a shared victory.
