Ed Venable, PE, is an Assistant Vice President at Qunity with over 35 years of experience in project management, specializing in municipal and federally funded infrastructure projects. His expertise includes sidewalk, roadway, utility, bridge, and stormwater design and construction, with a strong emphasis on PROWAG compliance, property acquisition, site plan development, and renovation management. Since joining Qunity, Ed has led a high-performing team of engineers and inspectors, guiding them through complex municipal and commercial challenges with precision and foresight. Prior to Qunity, Ed served the City of Durham Public Works Department for 27 years, where he held leadership roles in engineering design, development review, and contracting, including as Manager of the Engineering and Stormwater Divisions.
