Crest Street Park Restroom Replacement

As part of ongoing efforts to improve public amenities and accessibility in Durham’s park system, the Crest Street Park Restroom Replacement project focused on upgrading aging infrastructure to better serve the surrounding community. The scope included the full replacement of the existing restroom facility, along with the design and installation of new ADA-compliant sidewalks to ensure safe and accessible routes throughout the site.
Additional improvements involved restriping existing ADA parking spaces and establishing a fully code-compliant accessible connection between the parking area and the new restroom facility. These enhancements were designed to meet current accessibility standards while improving overall user experience.
Qunity led the project from concept through construction, providing civil engineering, landscape architecture, and inspection services. The team also managed a diverse group of sub-consultants—including land surveyors, environmental specialists, geomatics professionals, MEP engineers, and hazardous materials experts—to ensure seamless coordination and regulatory compliance across all phases of the project.
