Michael Ross is Qunity’s Supervisor and Lead Engineering Inspector, bringing over 45 years of experience in construction engineering for transportation and public infrastructure projects. A certified NCLTAP Roads Scholar and Advanced Roads Scholar, he specializes in roadway, utility, storm drainage, grading design, and comprehensive project inspection. Prior to joining Qunity, Mike spent nearly 14 years with the City of Durham, where he built and led the inspection team overseeing private utility work in the public right-of-way and later managed the Public Works ROW Inspections Group. Now serving as Senior Inspector, Mike remains actively involved in City of Durham projects that directly benefit the community he calls home—from park upgrades at Long Meadow and Lakeview, to improvements at Beechwood Cemetery, new bus stops, and accessible sidewalk and curb ramp installations. Known for his collaborative approach and problem-solving skills, he continues to serve as a trusted liaison between the City, contractors, developers, and residents—ensuring quality construction and stronger community connections.
