Alex Craig is a Landscape Designer with over four years of professional experience and a Master of Landscape Architecture from NC State University. She is currently pursuing licensure in North Carolina and holds a SITES Accredited Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Prior to entering the field, Alex spent a decade in business management in the Triangle area, including several years in Durham’s nursery and retail garden center industry—an experience that deepened her connection to plants and place. Her passion lies in sustainable design, and she is committed to implementing regenerative strategies in her work. Alex’s experience spans both public and private sectors, with a focus on site research, graphic communication, ecology, and planting design. Her responsibilities include site inventory and analysis, GIS mapping, due diligence reports, tree surveys and preservation planning, planting plans and calculations, graphic rendering and 3D modeling, and design detailing. She brings a systems-based approach to each project, emphasizing long-term ecological health and environmental responsibility. Alex’s work reflects a thoughtful balance between design innovation and sustainability.
