SW-94C Inspection & Ombudsman Services for Sidewalk Repair Project

Qunity and MUBE A1 Consulting Group are providing project management, design, construction inspection and ombudsman services for various City projects for a period of two years. Professional services will be provided for the repair of sidewalks, curb & gutter, driveway aprons and curb ramps and ensure that work in the Right of Way is compliant to the current PROWAG standards and provide guidance and designs to the contractor as necessary. Inspection services will be required for repair of sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway aprons and curb ramps associated with sidewalk projects at various locations throughout the City and to ensure the Right of Way is restored following the repairs. We will ensure sidewalk and curb ramp installations are to PROWAG standards and provide guidance and designs to the contractor as necessary. The Qunity inspectors will make use of the City’s PDRX software to review daily reporting and quantification of the contractor’s work for payments. Project Managers may provide oversight for a mix of City and Federal projects.

Qunity is acting as an ombudsperson for the City of Durham, working as an intermediary between the contractor, the public, and the City of Durham. We are supporting each stage of the project by immediately addressing all complaints made by the public caused directly by this project. We will keep all kept adjacent business and land owners updated on the construction schedule for the duration of the project.
